1837864Many of my favorite books of all time begin with a question in an author’s mind.  In this case, Pet Sematary began with Stephen King’s son nearly being hit by a car.  Luckily, he fell before he came to the road but it left the dreadful question in Mr. King’s mind of “what if?”

This book is less about pets and more about life.  It is a brilliant mix of “The Monkey’s Paw” meets “Chucky” and I loved every minute!  This book disturbed Stephen King so much that he put it away in a drawer for awhile thinking that he had finally gone too far!

PS- 125 books read this year!!!
